Working in partnership with CoOp and Threefold agency, Tactical have a long term partnership with the Coop, maximising the in-store compliance for their suppliers by calling on up to 1,000 stores every week.

We also support a number of brands in CoOp, completing ‘tactical’ work through our Dynamic Data Led & Flexible Merchandising Teams, focused on availability and day 1 promotional execution.

May 1st 2020

Dee Set acquire Tactical Solutions in strategic move

The deal further expands the UK’s largest field team and extends Dee Set’s service proposition, with complimentary technology and in store expertise.

The two companies joining forces will provide unique retailer access, image recognition capability and brand engagement capable of delivering market leading ROI.

July 2019

Tactical Solutions launches brand new website

As part of on-going investment into the company, Tactical Solutions decided it was the right time to improve their current online presence by having a new website designed.

The new website is worlds away from our old website, making it more user friendly, personal & bespoke, as well as giving a lot more information to our potential clients.

May 2019

Tactical Solutions wins Mars Wrigley Confectionery Contract

As of May 2019, Tactical Solutions will be the provider of ‘tactical’ field sales work for Mars Wrigley Confectionery within the CoOp.

After already calling on 1000 stores every 3 weeks in our branded POS compliance work with the CoOp, it’s great to add another fantastic client to our visits in the fast growing convenience retailer.

April 2018

Arla launches dedicated convenience team

In April 2018, Arla launched their dedicated convenience team through Tactical Solutions. The team launched with 13 Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) calling on convenience stores and symbols (Nisa, Costcutter, Spar), adding over 1,900 stockists in 6 months, half the time of their original target.

April 2018

Tactical Solutions partners with Threefold & CoOp

In April 2018, Tactical Solutions enters into a partnership CoOp. The partnership has been set up to monitor and improve branded POS compliance in CoOp stores, working with their media agency Threefold.

We call on 1,000 stores every 3 weeks to ensure the best possible compliance of branded POS for CoOp and their brands, increasing overall compliance by over 40%.

July 2017

Quorn launches dedicated in store team

After working with Quorn for over 12 months through our Syndicated team, in the February of 2017 we launched a 16 week Solus trial with 3 Territory Sales Managers (TSMs).

Following the success of the 16 week trial, Quorn and Tactical Solutions launched a fully dedicated team of 11 TSMs, 1 Executive and a Regional Sales Manager. The team started in July 2017 calling on the top 4 supermarkets and are still delivering exceptional results to this day.

June 2016

Duracell launches dedicated in store team

In June 2016, Duracell launched a dedicated team of Territory Sales Managers to support Duracell in the top 4 supermarkets.

The team began to support with FSDU implementation, on shelf availability as well as making sure all displays were to the agreed planogram.


July 2014

Tactical Solutions moves office

After over 10 years’ in our previous home of Stamford House, Tactical Solutions up-sticks (but fortunately not too far) to their lovely new home on the modern business park in Ewloe, St Davids Park. The team worked hard to get us into to the new office over the weekend, in the process we updated all of our in house technology – computers, tablets, projector screens.

We even got to give all of our meeting rooms cool new names; Brian, Dragons Den and Feet Street to name a few.

February 2013

Innocent launches dedicated in store team

In February 2013, a 9 strong team of Territory Sales Managers was formed to begin to deliver outstanding results for Innocent Drinks.

The team initially called on the top 4 supermarkets, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons, to improve the distribution and availability of their products. We now call various other retailers for Innocent including Boots and WHSmiths.

Late 2009

Tactical Solutions invest in tablet technology

As the marketplace and technology continued to evolve, Tactical Solutions needed to make an investment in a brand new bespoke data capture tool in order to stay ahead of the competition.

We called our tablet application ‘Drive’ – Driving Results & Interventions Via Execution. The application was rolled out to our Heinz Dedicated Team in late 2009.

May 2008

Heinz dedicated in store team launched

In 2008, Heinz employed an execution team which included 14 TSMs and 2 Divisional Managers covering the country.

Tactical Solutions worked with Heinz as its field execution team from 2008 and over the course of the following 7 years we established and took pride in the client relationship we evolved with Heinz and a team that grew to over 50 people.

Mid 2003

Tactical Solutions moved into a head office

Stamford House on the Deeside Industrial Estate became the home to Tactical Solutions in 2003. Tactical Solutions had previously used a partitioned warehouse on the same estate for its central based operations but this was the first time we had somewhere to call ‘Home’.

November 2000

Tactical Solutions was founded

Tactical Solutions founded in November 2000 from a garden shed

As a National Account Controller, Lorna often used a number of Field Sales Agencies that, never impressed and was convinced that she could go back to the basics of having suited and booted sales people that would make a difference on every call and deliver a measurable return on investment for our clients.
